Ultrasound examinations of gynecology nature are performed by obstetrician-gynecologist specialists. Patients arrive here from the gynecology specialty care with referral. Examination of expectant mothers happens by keeping a pregnant booklet. A so called “Babycinema” service operates in our institute on the basis of advance booking. Preliminary examination of patients going through of intended surgery, request of complementary examinations and the assessment of the results happens within the framework of the Anesthesiology Specialty Policlinic. In case of intended surgeries a preliminary inspection and risk assessment takes place. Following the extensive orientation of the patients a mutual decision is being made concerning the type of surgical anesthesia.
