Activity of the department:
The department insures nursing service to patients requiring continuous, professional nursing.
Medical attendance is insured daily by a consultant. We provide meals for the inpatients three times a day – dietetic if necessary – in a personalized tray serving system. To make their stay even more pleasant, we organize activities for the hospitalized patients (watching TV, readings, physical exercise together, board games, and social conversations).
Application to the department is possible in person on every working day from 7.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at the Nursing Directorship.
Admission happens on the basis of advance booking, with reservation.
Patient admission: from Monday to Friday, between 9.00 a.m. and 12.00 a.m.
For the admission the referral, opinion of the medical attendant and the family doctor is necessary.
Duration of nursing: 3 months for the first time that can be extended for the request of the patient and his/her relatives.
For the nursing a charge has to be paid, the amount of which, from 1 August 2014, is the following:
- in the 1-2. month of the nursing: 2500,- HUF/day
- in the 3-4. month of the nursing: 2800,- HUF/day
- from the 5. month: 3000,- HUF/day
- from the 6.month: 4000,- HUF/day
The patients can use their own clothes at the department, but the family has to take care of the washing and exchange of those. The patients have to bring their own toilet utensils, glasses and cutlery. The patients can also bring their personal belongings with them.
Buffet, newspaper stand, hair dresser and barber are available for the patients as well.
Visiting the hospitalized patients is possible, but for the sake of uninterrupted nursing we recommend the afternoon period for that.
The employees of the department aspire for offering the most secure, fastidious, qualitative nursing that is possible for the patients. For our hospitalized patients a physiotherapist and masseur insure the treatment prescribed by the doctor. Upon leaving the patients get a nursing final report. Due to professional aspects the Department of Nursing cannot take on the admission of patients suffering in psychosis, contagion and those who are in the final stages of terminal illness.
